Essie Splash of Grenadine

I really wanted the Essie Splash of Grenadine nail polish after watching this Youtube video of essiebutton and ARose186's drugstore beauty haul then reading about it here on Essiebutton's blog. It's such a beautiful colour so the next time I was at Boots I bought it. Essie says she got so many compliments on it when wearing it and I realised it's a dupe for Revlon's Purple Petal which I've had for years and always got a lot of compliments on but stopped wearing as it was getting too thick and gloopy to apply properly. Here are some pictures for comparison purposes.

In all of these pictures I'm wearing the Essie Splash of grenadine on my index and ring fingers and Revlon Purple Petal on my middle and little fingers.
